Karwa, the most famous transportation service in Qatar has recently launched e-scooters to commute within the Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island in the country. The initiative has been taken in collaboration with Falcon Ride which will provide eco-friendly e-scooters at the Pearl-Qatar under a micro-mobility project which is supported by United Development Company (UDC).

As a part of this project, one needs to download “Falcon Ride” app in their mobile phones and rent the e-scooters by paying 50 dirhams for use per minute. The users will also have to pay a fee of QAR 2 to unlock the application before using it.

The Co-founder and the MD of the Falcon Ride said that these transportation facilities will help in providing last-minute connectivity between various routes at the time of FIFA World Cup 2022.
