As international restrictions are being constantly lifted up, here is good news for local people of Qatar who can now travel to Maldives without any Covid-19 restrictions. Booking a private villa in Maldives in a hassle-free way is now a reality with Qatar Airways’ travel bubble holiday package. The idea behind this initiative is to boost up tourism and it is for the first time that the country has used its veto power for the move.
What Is Travel Bubble Holiday Package & How Does It Work?
In the Travel Bubble Holiday Package launched by Qatar Airways, everyone boarding the flight has to provide a negative Covid-19 test report forming a holiday bubble. After booking your seat, you will have to sign a passenger declaration form with two negative PCR tests which are no more than 72 hours old before you board your flight to Maldives. Following this, there will be another rapid PCR test that will be taken just before flying. Post these tests, there will be no quarantine requirement either in Maldives or in Qatar. Also, there will be no additional permission required to re-enter Qatar which is currently needed and passengers need not fill out Exceptional Entry Permit form.
Passengers need to book this travel bubble holiday package till 24th December 2020 and can enjoy their vacation in Maldives till 7th January 2021.
