After arriving at Kannur International Airport, we proceeded towards Wayanad. On the way, we stopped to witness the beauty of Pookode Lake and its Viewpoint. Finally, we reached our hotel late in the evening. It was a memorable trip in the Kannur tour package for 6 days 5 nights.

After a delicious breakfast, a trek up the majestic Ambukuthi Hills takes us to the Edakal Caves, two naturally formed rock formations with beautiful carvings. The aroma of coffee lingers around us, making the experience even more surreal. Later, we visited the Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia.

Leisure Day in Kannur

Early morning delicious breakfast, visit Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, return to the hotel by 9.30 am, checkout, and proceed to Coorg. Pick up from Kannur Airport and proceed to Kushal Nagar. Check in at the hotel, then visit the Tibetan Monastery/Golden Temple.

Dubere Elephant Camp Tour

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, and explore the Dubere Elephant Camp, from where we proceed to Talakaveri. This is the much-revered spot generally believed to be the birthplace of the Kaveri river, located at the Brahmagiri hills near Bhagamandala in Coorg district, Karnataka, close to the border with Kerala.

Explore the Sunset River Cruise

After a delicious breakfast, we set off on a 2-hour drive through the gorgeous greenery to Bekal. We arrived mid-noon and checked into a houseboat on the crystal clear Thejaswini River. The experience was unforgettable, especially as we watched the sunset from the river cruise.
