Monkey Island: Swing with the Monkeys

Upon your arrival at the Puerto Maldonado airport or bus station on the 1st day, you'll register at the office and store excess luggage. After a 40-minute boat ride to the Lodge, you'll have lunch and visit Monkey Island to see capuchin, tamarin, and squirrel monkeys. At night, you'll go caiman spotting and look for capybaras.

Lake Sandoval: Into the Wild

After breakfast, you'll take a boat to Tambopata National Reserve Zone control and trek for 1.5 hours to Sandoval Lake, home to Giant Otters, birds, butterflies, turtles, and fish on your Tambopata and Amazon Jungle vacation package. After lunch, you'll climb a tower and cross hanging bridges to spot colorful animals on the treetops. The rest of the day is free to relax in the Lodge.

Departure: Farewell to the Jungle

You'll depart the Lodge very early to reach the parakeet salt licks, where the birds eat clay to neutralize toxins. Afterward, you'll return to the Lodge for breakfast and take a boat back to Puerto Maldonado, with departures. Then, you will be transferred to the airport or bus station, concluding your Tambopata and Amazon Jungle 2 nights 3 days tour package.
